Your first instinct after hearing your child or loved one may have Down syndrome is to immediately turn to Google to learn all that you can. Upon doing a search, you may be completely overwhelmed with the amount of information out there.
Unfortunately, there are many sources that are not up to date, or they only focus on the scary worst-case scenarios, making your fear about the diagnosis even worse.
